The Lithium Manganese battery used in all Ecogo bikes is a new environment friendly battery which is termed in the industry as the ultimate battery in its class. It causes no harm to humans and is the first lithium battery which has passed UL certification of the USA. (Underwriters Laboratories Inc). The 3.5 kg weight of the battery is 1/5th of a lead acid battery. Gives up to 800 recharges giving a life four times that of a lead acid battery at a 1/4 of the size!
